    Default H&K P30 9mm

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with an H&K P30. As I SLOWLY wait for my NY license, I have time to research my future purchase. And the P30 has caught my attention. Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated!

Im in love with this gun, and the h&k brand. Shot a p2000sk about a few years ago and handled the P30 at a few local gun shops. Probably going to purchase within the next week or so.

I think once you handle it and feel the ergo's, you will buy!

They just did a review of this gun on American Rifleman..they gave it a mixed bad..they liked the gun overall but thought the mag release and decocker or what ever were in poor places also said something about it pinching their fingers when they fired it??? well anyways look for the review im just going from memory. I think they liked the gun hated the ergos.

From what I've read and got from people who own it, they are great guns. One trainer ran (and is continue to run it) his up to 75K+ rounds in less than a year with minimal cleaning and work to stress test it. He is trying to get to 100K rounds. I will try to dig up the link. He only had to do minimal work to keep it running.

Here is the link: http://pistol-training.com/archives/2469 (77,003 rounds, 10 stoppages, 0 malfunctions, 4 parts breakages)

We have a few members here that have one. I know that d90king has one and it's his EDC gun.

Will do steve. Probably wont be for 2 weeks, but will let you know.

Also, I looked for that article on the American Rifleman website and couldnt locate said article. Kinda odd that they would hate the ergo's on this gun?

I am far from being a fan of H&K, at all. Guns seem overly bulky and I hate the controls.

    However.

The P30 is an awesome H&K. My buddy loves his. A lot.
    Is it five o'clock yet?
