    Default Carry at York Hospital

Headed there shortly to visit my wife's grandmother. I vowed to never go to York unarmed after some of the shit I saw lurking around when we went to pick up my wife's LTCF awhile back. I did a search and didn't come up with much. I assume i won't have any issues since I will be CC although I'm switching from IWB to OWB so I'm sure I will print like a SOB since I did some before. Anyone have any experience to offer? Thanks.

    I haven't been there in over a year, and I wasn't carrying. So here's a bit of a 'bump'.

I CC'd there about a month ago. Didn't see any signs, didn't really look though either. Had no issues.

Well thanks for the replies even though I didn't get to check in before I left. As an update I went ahead and CC'd this evening no problem. I didn't see any signs either but I only glanced for one and didn't really try to hunt one down. I can tell you one thing, if there are signs they aren't nearly as large or plentiful as all the no smoking signs.

On a side note I used my new leather OWB holster tonight and I like it so far. Much more comfortable than the IWB however the end of the muzzle does just barely show past the bottom of my untucked shirt so not as easy to conceal but I like the new option nonetheless since I don't generally worry about concealing that well.

Recently have had to visited York hospital to visit my father this week, I have been cc with no issues. No signs at the doors, but found in the guest booklet for the hospital, wellspan has a no weapon on property policy. cc at your own risk.

Both wellspan and memorial have gun busting policies, neither seems to have ever been enforced as far as I've seen.

Concealed there several times, no problems, and I don't read guest booklets.
