    Default De-Glocking Brass

I ordered the New Redding G-RX Base Die. Has anyone used it. And is it as good as they say it is. Are there any tricks to it. I know some guys don’t have a problem with the Bulged brass. I have Lyman Dies and they don’t like the Glock 22 = 40 S&W stuff.

I use Lee dies & don't have an issue with "Glock" brass.....

I know what you mean about the cases.....I use a range that is share by many Police agencies & I pick up their brass for reloading. I can ALWAYS tell which ones were shot out of a Glock! I will never, ever buy a .40 Glock after seeing the brass & what an unsupported chamber will do!

The cases are indeed ugly, but they function 100% in my press & out of my .40 Styer.

The G-RX Die came today. I ran a 100 cases threw it. So far works like a charm. It works like a Lee Cast bullet sizer. I should have ordered the Bottle attachment that goes on top.. To catch the brass. You do need a solid single stage press. My old Pacific shoots them straight threw. And the Glock Bulge is gone.

+1 Lee pro-1000 with carbide dies. de-primes and sizes glock ammo no problem.

The crimp die? On my press its the sizing die which also deprimes at the same time. First step of the process instead of the last.

I got the G-RX Die from Midway. But I have read on other post Mid south also sells it. I have only seen it in 40 S&W. But I have read the Dillion and Lee dies are ground a little larger than most standard dies. And are not effected by the Bulge. You may be able to get a Lee sizeing Die in 357 Sig. And it may work fine for you. The Glock 22 early models have a greater unsupported Barrel issue. And from what I have read are the hardest on Brass

I use a Lee "U" die I bought from Evolution Gun Works. Slightly undersized and shaved at the bottom so you can size the casing down further.

I never need a case gauge now.
