Well, I saw this Sig

Have been looking for a new carry gun, commander size 1911. Was tossing around a Colt Commander, (stainless) or one of the Kimber bi-tone things. And then I saw this Sig, commander size, officer composite grip frame.... what's not to love about it.

Now I just needs some new leather leather to go with it.... guess I'm stuck with a Serpa until then

Gonna take it up and shoot it tonight. Will post how it shoots and if it likes the Hornaday XTP's I carry

That was a toss up between that and a P220 Elite for me.

And How it shoots

Had gun up to the indoor range On Friday night, put about 250 rounds thru it, no failures of any kind noted with it with ball ammo.

Shot 40 Hornaday 230g +p XTP/JHP's as well.... the only problem noted was if I use the slide release to release the slide, it might not go all the way into battery. If I slingshot it, not a problem.

Other than that, shoots balls on accurate.

Took it out to the Club for the Fish Fry on Saturday and let others shoot it, another 60+ rounds through it without a problem. We were able to hit a 12" steel plate consistantly at 25 yards.

I'm liking this gun a lot
