Recommendations on a Range Finder
I got a cabelas gift card burning in my wallet I am looking at range finders at cabelas(a PAFOA shopping partner). I was looking at the cabelas VLR by bushnell. Anyone have and +/_ comments on this model? I dont bow ,i am into target shooting (on my own property) deer, coyote and turket hunting. suggestions

I have the Leica 1200 scan. It cost more than most range finders, but Leicas are built well. Leica offers a more compact LRF than my 1200. What is the max distance you are planning on ranging? That will help determine which LRF is right for you.

One of the less expensive models will work for you...I hear the Nikons are decent LRF. Not sure of hte price since I already have my LRF.
