I saw Harold also but didn't get to talk to him, either. Was just glad to see him out and about.

Speaking of 'Neck Benders'....one of the best things I saw all day was a very endowed woman bending over and looking thru a box of stuff at a table while the guy behind the counter was all but drooling over his middle-aged self trying to look down her shirt. Just about everyone around could barely control their laughter at the sight of that. The vendor needed a lesson in 'subtle'!

Tight aisles again. I don't mind that sooooo much but I do mind those people who insist on not bathing for a week and appear to be sweating buckets of Crisco oil who love to push in front of you and SLIDE right up to your face. Drives me insane!! There were several at this particular show.

Alas..no deals that I saw but I was getting pretty disgusted by the end of my walkthru. Glad to hear you got to see some nice things at the auction and even pick something up, 87thPVI!

Can you pm me if they get a used/CPO 9mm Sig P226, P228 or P229? I stop by there every once in a while but it's an hour drive and they usually don't have a real big used selection.

I made out pretty well at this one, Precision firearms (iirc) from virgina was over towards the right and he had everything I have been looking for to finish my AR build. Got a 10 inch troy MRF handguard, HK style front folding sight, also a troy ind product, and a QD sling swivel with mount from MI. And a front low pro gas block.

I have never taken my upper apart, but I had all the parts on in about an hour. I was really excited to find that 10 inch rail because it's a new offering from troy and nobody has any (I have been looking for months). As I told this story to the guy, he smiles at me and starts rumaging around and poof.........what could I do?

Also had a talk with the owner of a small start-up shop in Elizabethtown (my hometown), anyway, he is planning to deal in NFA stuff and seemed like a great guy to work with (Freedom Armory can kiss my butt).

IMO, if you were looking for great deals on actual firearms, eh, not so much. I was pretty happy with the quality of accesories (AR stuff right now for me). I did take a friend of mine to check out what he might like for his first gun purchase. I warned him that he may want to use the show to fondle and then find the best price at Backwoods or Hakes. He ended up getting an XD.40 compact for a decent price from Stoneybrook.

He was itching to go to shooting for the first time so I took them up to the SGL and went over safety and shot a box, he was loving it!
