    Default who else does my ltcf extend to?

    if i'm taking a few buddies to the range, none have ltcf, their guns can be in my car loaded in the glove box without breaking any laws? we can stop for dinner afterwards or even a movie with their guns in my car? what if they were driving?
    of course i would be "borrowing" their firearm until i drop them off.

    Your LTCF covers no other "people"

    It covers guns in your possession.

    In which case, no, he wasn't.

    Except I think that one's LTCF can actually extend to cover other people in one certain circumstance, specifically if you are operating a vehicle that is registered to you, your parents, or spouse, and are in possession of a firearm owned by your spouse or parents, are otherwise eligible to possess a firearm, and your spouse or parents have a LTCF, then you are exempt from the requirement to have a LTCF. Ref: 18 Pa.C.S. § 6106: Firearms not to be carried without a license (b)(13)
    6106(b):
    (13) Any person who is otherwise eligible to possess a firearm under this chapter and who is operating a motor vehicle which is registered in the person's name or the name of a spouse or parent and which contains a firearm for which a valid license has been issued pursuant to section 6109 to the spouse or parent owning the firearm.

    If the buddies qualify for a LTCF, have them each get one.

    if you have a lic and you can carry and they bought their pistols legally they can go to the range. Why is it needed that they have them loaded? I dont understand the need for this.

    18902man, I was just making an extreme case.

    headcase, I had a talk with another buddy bout his wife taking his truck. I guess i owe him an apology.

    From my understanding, i can borrow anyone's firearm, I have a valid LTCF, so if i was taking my buddies, whether i'm driving or not. if they lend me their firearm I should be able to carry their guns anyway i want, loaded, unloaded, in the truck, in the glove box next to ammo etc. and if i wanted to have dinner with them i can with their guns in the car.

    I should of just asked,
    Can me and buddies stop by the restaurant with their firearm in my vehicle? a couple weeks ago i took a buddy to shooting. we thought bout going to eat but didn't cause i wasn't sure bout what to do with his gun.

    wut about delaware? will be taking a class there, I should have my UTAH's by then but not my buddy, we will have to leave the range to get food. last year, we left the guns in my car at the range and took his car to get food. i rather not do that this time.
