Utah Application time limit
Kicking myself in the butt. I attended a Utah Permit class and never got around to sending in the paperwork. Does this stuff expire after while, or can I go ahead and send it in now? Heck, if I had sent it in, I probably would have my permit by now it was so long ago.

Re: Utah Application time limit
You have a year after taking the class to submit your paperwork.

Re: Utah Application time limit
Dug out my paperwork. It was March 14th of 2009. Guess I better get my butt in gear.
Looking at my fingerprint card. Prints looks really dull. Not smeared, just dull. Also realized that one slot says "signature of official taking fingerprints". I don't have a signature in there. Should there be one. I may have to run out and get fingerprinted again. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: Utah Application time limit
I took my Utah class about a month ago, and I still haven't sent in my paperwork. Just haven't gotten around to getting the application notarized.
Good to know that I still have plenty of time."There are four boxes to use in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo. Use in that order."

Re: Utah Application time limit
When I took my class there was a notary and LEO on hand to do finger prints for us. Very convenient!

Re: Utah Application time limit
I got fingerprinted at my class. No notory though. That would have been convinient.
Guess I'm going to have to get my butt in gear and get this mailed in. I think I better get reprinted. It is really hard to see a couple of my fingers. Not smeared. It looks like it faded. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: Utah Application time limit
there are three types of finger print cards. Red, white, and blue.
Red-Bad boy...you've been arrested and they will forever be onfile in computer systems.
White-Generally...for in house use only
Blue-only for employment and background checks. They are scanned into the computer system, ran against the database looking for criminal matches for criminal history and then discarded. The prints are not uploaded and kept on file.
