Default Any smiths that can work on ARs?

I need some work done to my AR and I lack the tools to do so. I need a rear sling mount installed, and a barrel wrench to fix the cant in my CMMG upper. If you guys know anyone in the area who can handle this, let me know. Thanks

BNB in Carlisle can work on them. Bob does good work, and he's priced reasonably.

Also, you could try Moyer's up on Beagle Club Road.

I've had work done by both of these guys in the past, no complaints.

I am not familiar with BNB, do you have any information?

Hi JB: Sorry it's taken me so long to post a reply; I forgot I posted in this thread. . . . . .

BNB is run by a guy named Bob, who runs a machine shop in Carlisle, right near KFC, when you're going towards the pike. Phone there is 226-5439. Does good work, and he's cheaply priced. I think he uses that same phone number for an internet connection, so getting a hold of him can be tricky sometimes.

I was at the Harrisburg show today talking to a vender that has been a friend of Bob for years. I asked where Bob's tables were and he told me that Bob died around the first of the year. I didn't ask if the business was still open with someone else taking care of the business.

Mr Moyer retired over a year ago... Chad (his under study took over the Business).. ) I have had great dealings with Bill Hollis at M&B custom Firearms (Near Etters).. I learned about him from this Forum..
