Ruger SR9Compact
Well i just picked one of these up and I like it so far. Actually I traded a older 2nd Gen Glock 23 in on it because it(the Glock) never did fit my hand right.
Trying to get it broken in now ran decent for breaking in at the range..I am hoping it will be a real nice CC gun for me once I get A few hundred rounds through it.Last edited by CBennett; February 12th, 2010 at 02:01 PM.

Re: Ruger SR9Compact
Oh BTW ti was $403 if anyone was wondering the street price...ive seen them a tad bit cheaper through Buds($398) but id just as soon support a local mom and pop as go through the internet for such a small difference . They had just gotten in 4 of these on Monday 2 2 tone stainless/black and 2 all black like mine. Worst part so far is trying to find a decent holster that fits it.
I really like the stock 10 round mag and the 17 round reload with adapter pretty decent feature

Re: Ruger SR9Compact
I've been itchin to get one. i have a full size SR9 and love it, but wish the grip wasnt quite as long while carrying it. seems like the solution, maybe ill have to go trade my blackhawk towards one and a 22 for the g/f
You'll thank me when no one eats our brains......you'll thank me

Re: Ruger SR9Compact
All the pistols I currently own are full size. I'm looking for a CC pistol, and as I own an SR9, this is one I'm considering. However, I hate the trigger on my SR9. Hate it. Leaning towards an XD sc just because I like the trigger on my XD much better. Which leads me to this, how's the trigger on the SR9c?

Re: Ruger SR9Compact
its great they built it a whole new trigger its almost 2 pounds lighter than the SR9 was and with less takeup(i guess). Id say mine was almost the equivalent of my well broken in Glock 23's and thats out of the box...I can only imagine when it gets 500+ down range rds that it will only get better also.
