I have had a couple issues that some others had as well. I had to polish the feed ramp for it to load Hydra Shok HP's. The slide not returning to bateery position after shot fired. I contacted them about that, and they said it should go away after the break in period. Very nice size to carry....

I'm curious about the raised sight rail on the Michigan Armament. It looks like the rear sight extends behind the slide. Is this to give you a longer sight picture? Just wondering as I never saw one like it before. Being that the sights are raised, does it affect point of aim?

I hope thats not their way of saying short barreled 1911s in general dont work.

The Bomar rail is longer than the pistol. However....it is the most accurate pistol that I have ever shot. The tail sight is fully adjustable to compensate for the height of the rail. It was set up for a competitive shooter. I absolutely love it. I have made very few changes to it since I got it.

The Citadel however is still bothering me. I lack confidence in it until proven otherwise. I am not impressed so far. I hope that it will break in. I am just not used to having to "break in" a pistol in order for it work properly. Wear usually improves performance, but this one apparently needs it to function.
