I cannot verify Dickson City ordinances, but the Scranton ordinances are verifiable.

Chapter 232. Firearms and Weapons

Article IV. Air Guns, Spring Guns and Similar Devices

§ 232-9. Prohibited devices.

It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person or persons to use or operate or have in their possession with the intent to use within the limits of the City of Scranton any air gun, air pistol, spring gun or pistol or any implement, not a fire arm, which impels with force a pellet of any kind.

§ 232-10. Prohibited acts.

It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person, persons, firms, associations or corporations to store, sell, offer or expose for sale at retail or have in their possession with the intent to sell at retail within the limits of the City of Scranton any air gun, air pistol, spring gun or pistol or any implement, not a fire arm, which impels with force a pellet of any kind.

§ 232-11. Enforcement.

The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to seize, remove and destroy any air gun, air pistol, spring gun or pistol or any implement, not a fire arm, which impels with force a pellet of any kind, which shall be used or discharged within the City of Scranton, or which shall be held and possessed in violation of this article.

§ 232-12. Violations and penalties.

Any person or persons, firm, association or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine of not more than $100 or shall be imprisoned for a period of not more than 30 days in default of such fine.

my grandfather had a glass eye because of a similar account. It can happen. I am not saying that they should have a liscense to carry a ruuber band gun, just pointing out that they can be dangerous.

So I finally got around to applying for my PA non-resident LTCF. I applied in person last Thursday and received my LTCF in the mail today. Four business day turnaround, including mailing time.

Took me 11 months to get the same thing here in New York and I'm one of the luckier people (most NY'ers live in counties that just plain refuse to give you a permit that's good for concealed carry)

One of these days we'll get a shall issue law here in NYS.

From these pages to the bureaucrats ears. I'm a fellow New Yorker, but I'm from Long Island. have my Nassau License, and had the good sense to get my Pa. Non resident license also. We may never see the day it happend here.

last time i was in gander mtn(dickson city),i asked about one of those gamo whispers and was told they can't sell them in scranton or dc. paintball guns and airsoft are ok though.
