I went out to Cabela's today to use my $100 off coupon. I picked up this little baby for $417.

I'd really like to find out how it shoots, but this damned snow needs to stop falling first.

Classic Arms had A Chrome AK pistol I wanted that but they where sold out. so then I was Going to go to cabela's and Get that tristar Cobra for $190 but I kept thinking NO don't do it So I went to bed instead.

Congrats on your new weapon. I have one just like it, and am very pleased. I understand your frustrations about not getting out to shoot it, this snow has got to go.

If you have a cabelas club card you get $100 for every $400 or $500 you spend...it usually comes in the mail.I guess if you go there and open an account they will give it to you too..I would call and see.

I used a $100 coupon a few months ago to buy my wife's S&W 642. With that & $70 something Cabelas Bucks I ended up with a nice gun for not alot of $'s. The 642 was $460 (I think), so I bought a couple boxes of ammo to put the total over $500 so I could get the $100 off. Why pay $500 for something when you can get it for $400 or less?

Nice little XD u have there, i had one and loved it. only traded it for a service model

I highly recommend the Pearce Grip Extensions for the XD sub-compact. I have the same model as you, and they work great.

They give a place for your pinky finger to rest, more closely approximating a larger grip. Yet they don't print like an the extended capacity magazine would.

Nice choice. I have an SD subcompact in 40 cal and an XD 45. Both shoot great with no malfunctions. I'll have to check out those Pierce grips. Best!
