Stupid question, but do they wand or pat down people entering the show? I have heard before that they didn't allow people to carry firearms at some gun shows. Having never been to the York show I am not sure. Don't want to have to leave the guns in my truck. Also can someone reccommend a good reliable shotgun to a new shotgun buyer. I want something that is good for home defense, reliable and easy to take down and clean. I don't have much experience with shottys so I am leaving it up to you. I was looking to spend no more than $600 as I will also be purchasing some accessories and possbile ammo if they sell it there. Thanks.

They only ask if you have any guns, if you do, they check for empty chamber.

ETA: They DO NOT have a proper clearing station.........

If you talking about Phoenix Distributors, I don't think they have done York in years. He should be at Valley Forge and Harrisburg.

Thanks Harold, just confirmed that with them. Guy on the phone said they'll be at VF with some G21's with NS for about $385.
