The fact is, Scranton would be a whole lot better off if sister sneakers didn't put so much effort into bringing criminals into Scranton. Yeah, she did do some good things, but she also brought in a whole lot of repeat offenders and welfare abusers.

If anyone wants a kick, go look at the Pennsylvania State Police Uniform Crime Reporting System maps by crime rate. Zoom into the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area for 2009 crimes, and none other that Dickson City will be one of the four regions with the highest crime rate, along with Southeast Wilkes-Barre, Moscow, and Tobyhanna. (And why the hell is Tunkhannock south of Tobyhanna when it is actually several miles north of Dallas?)

That's Tunkhannock TOWNSHIP (on Rt 115, Luzerne and Monroe counties), not Tunkhannock Borough (Wyoming County)

Ah, thank you. I never realized that a township can be so geographically separated from a borough with the same name. Up until now, I have only seen where a borough (such as Dallas) is surrounded by a similarly named township (such as Dallas). Damn confusing shit.

I was just reading that in the paper. It's one of the reasons I'm eager to turn 21 and finally be able to apply for my carry permit. Only 61 days and counting.

hell yeah.... she was the WORST thing to ever happen to scranton.... she single handedly made scranton the craptastic place it is today... her and the sweet scranton housing authority working together to make our way of life worse to better their lives? that's pretty gay.

But then I can't drive anywhere, and the only place worth walking to is Hanks Hogies, but thats literally across the street from my house.

Plus I don't have a carry pistol yet. Or the money for one.
