    Default REENACTING!!!

    I was reading about everybody interest in the bugle so what if all the guys at Jonestown start a German unit like SS or something?

    nobody speaks much german.....all the best german units use german for the extra effect.

    re-enacting while pretty cool......is pretty expensive, and time consuming.
    i'am poor in both money and time to spend.

    besides a unit is kinda large......if we'd get lucky we might be able to muster a squad.
    i don't think a vw fox is going to pass as a kubleswagon either.
    it's only metal, we can out think it....

    a vw thing was pretty much a Kublewagen.

    no, not really.

    the kubleswagon was a type 82, while the thing was a type 181.
    they look the same but almost no parts are interchangeable.
    they look similar to each other...till you see them side by side.
    the wheel arches are completely different. but the most noticeable change is the number of "ribs" in the sheet metal doors.
    the 82 has four on the doors, while the 181 only has two.

    i thought i recall hearing that at one time there was a "conversion" kit to make a 181 look more like a type 82.

    Did anyone ever tell you that you know too much about things that just don't matter to us "normal" folks?

    I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

    there was a time when the brian fleet included a couple vw's....back when i couldn't afford cruisers.
