Anybody here shoot in 3 gun matches? If so, how do you like it? Fast paced? "Realistic" feeling?

3-gun matches seem like they would be a ton of fun. I wonder if there are any within a reasonable distance from Philly.

could try 3gunmatch.com and 3gunrules.com they seem to have a lot of information there, and list competitions around the US by state. Looks hella fun, just curious if any members here have participated in them or not.

Did them in Texas, Florida, and Colorado....not here since we moved her in July '09 but, am looking for them near Pittsburgh. It's a freakin' blast!!!
Let me know if you find them near Pittsburgh....I'm way in!!!

Topton Fish and Game has a 3-man 3-gun team event coming up on June 19/20. I've never been to one, but I think I'm going to try it this year. Should be about an hour from Philly.

These guys do it every month. I went out there on the 20th and did all 3 guns (although you don't have to, can just do 2 guns or just pistol). Four stations, and I went through about 80 rounds each rifle and pistol and about 20 shells.

It was a lot of fun. Took around six hours, as there were about 45 shooters. BerksCountyDave does this one just about every month I think. It was about 55 miles for me to get there, probably longer from Philly, but it's beautiful country, nice drive, etc. $10 to shoot and really nice folks there. I'll be back.
