    Default .303 Lee-Enfield rifle

Hey, new guy here. This is a .303 Lee-Enfield rifle that my uncle gave me (he got it from my grandfather when he died) the week of my 21st birthday (That probably explains the Jameson). I believe this is before my neighbor cleaned it. If my uncle ever cleaned it, he didn't do a good job. The bolt would barely move and there was a ton of buildup in the barrel. This is one of two rifles and a shotgun my grandfather had. Eventually I'll be getting the others (I hope). Sorry about the picture quality, these were taken with a cellphone.

Sorry, but I couldn't tell you. I know very little about rifles/guns (this is my first one-period) and it's at home in PA, while I'm stationed down in MD living in the dorms. I should be going back up in March/April and may be able to tell you, then. The date on it is 1916 if that tells you anything.

I'm assuming Britain since it's a British rifle.

    Yes please.

It's a No 1 Mk III. Take pics of the receiver, under where the bolt handle would normally rest while closed and the markings around the chamber area.

Your scope mount looks like it's mounted offset to the left, which may allow you to top off the magazine with stripper clips.

Take a photo of the left side of the receiver, too, back near the safety.
