anyone put a lonestar .357sig barrel in G-23?

Wanted to know if these barrels are any good,and if you can use the same .40 magazine or you have to buy a g-32 mag.they are pretty cheap at $99 bucks at lonestar.com..

I'd be curious myself, I've been thinking of picking up a G23 and a 9mm bbl to go along with it.

Since I already own a G17 & a G26 I could never justify to myself buying a G19 - But I recently was given a supply a 40 cal and in my warped way of thinking, that justifies a G23.

I already have a g-19 my primary carry,just picked up a new g-23.. I like the .40 but I hear the .357 sig is awesome.(they didn't have any 32's or I would have bought that.people say it's better to get the .40 then get the .357 barrel) and yes get the 23!!!not warped to me!

i used a bar-sto barrel in my 23 and loved it. i stupidly traded it to a friend that HAD to have one. now i want another. i have several lone wolf barrels and they do appear to work just fine!

thanks MPI,that's what I wanted to hear!! bar-sto's are lot more money,I guess for $99 bucks you can't go wrong with the lone wolf.. I was just worried about the pressure the .357 sig has compared to the .40..i don't want to go too cheap and get a ka-boom.

I have a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel for my G23 & like it. With my reloads, it shoots to the same poa as the stock .40 barrel, but with a slightly tighter group. Might just be me, though.
As for mags, I bought some factory 9mm mags when I bought the barrel. I tried using the 9mm in the .40 mags, just to see if it'd work & the 2nd round would misfeed most of the time, so I gave up on that. Might work with the .357 Sig though. You'll have to see.

I have a G32 and have multiple .40 cal 15rd mags that feed the 357Sig flawlessly. I have not tried a .40 in a 357 mag though. By everything I have read they will work just as good.

IMHO the 357 Sig is an awesome cartridge. I believe your POI will be different going from .40 to 357 Sig though. I have heard the sights are different.
