Re: Maryland trying to ban ownership of "assault weapons"
Slippery slope... propagates the idea... and will be pointed to as precedent for the next state legislator seeking to replicate it in another state. If we as gun owners aren't all in this thing together, we have no one to blame when we're under siege and "on our own".

Re: Maryland trying to ban ownership of "assault weapons"
Because if we just sit back and allow these things to happen eventually it WILL happen here. New Jersey, then Maryland, did you know New York still has the AWB mag law, and no one thinks PA is not far behind???????
Come on guys.......I don't know what more i can do besides get the word out on this. so if anyone has ideas on how we can help please share.

Re: Maryland trying to ban ownership of "assault weapons"
Good Grief! Does that mean I can't take my Ruger Mini-14 with a folding stock down to my cousin's place in Silver Spring MD to shoot? That is going to be suck! I need to tell him so he can write to his state rep. or something. What a bunch of baloney. Good thing he just got his AR-15 so he wouldn't have to worry about not able to get it. He already can't buy any gun magazine over 20 rounds already. Geez, what a mess.

Re: Maryland trying to ban ownership of "assault weapons"
I'm not sure what we could do, and I'm not suggesting that we go into somebody's "home" uninvited, and try to tell them how to do things. Merely that its probably in our best interest to support them if its possible, rather than just saying "Screw 'em... they voted for the bastards."
