Default SCORE at Cabela's last night!

I went to Cabela's last night to get shell plates for my new Hornady progressive press and decided to walk down the primer/powder aisle which has been empty lately.

My eyes lit up when I saw tons of stuff!

    I went home with:

    5 lbs of WSF
    4 lbs of Varget
    4 lbs of H335

    9,000 CCI small rifle primers
    10,000 CCI small pistol primers

Hope this is a sign of the future. How were the prices?

Wow, that's gonna make a lot of ammo. Good thing you didn't get into an accident on the way home

Not to bad, $20-25 seems the going price for the popular powders in 1lb size.

Harrisburg Show in December is the last time I saw an 8 pounder of Varget, Price was around $145. That is the cheapest I have seen lately.

Primers I got lucky on....bought all the small rifle one guy had at the Lebanon Show...(2000) he was selling them for $25....others were around $30....mostly $35 is the norm now.

I plan on going up to Cabelas tomorrow (AM) before the "Blizzard of 2010" and spend the weekend at the reloading bench.

Thanks for the heads up on primers, hope they still have some.
