Default Thunder Ranch: Urban Rifle Clint Smith Dvd Review

Clint Smith's Thunder Ranch Urban Rifle DVD Review

Overall I think all the DVDS in the series are worth watching but there is a fair amount of overlap between the different discs. I will be posting a break down of each disc and some thoughts.

    Ratings:

    Production Value: 4/5
The content is solid and visuals are good but it is filled with the cheesy 80's style effects and music.

vs the rest of the series 5/5
If you are looking to pickup just a few in the series this is a great selection.

Techniques/Skills shown 5/5 Shows many different skills and walk though the how and why Clint thinks they work.

Skill Drills 3/5 If you are looking for non firing drills, ex reloads, transitions, this is a great option. If you are looking for demonstrations of firing skills this dvd is lacking 1/5

Level of Skill: 3/5 This is geared for a beginner to moderate audience. But can also be a nice refresher or different point of view for the more advanced shooter.

Price Per Value 5/5. With a steep MSRP around $50 it is a nice chunk of change but with both discs run time right under 2 hours it is worth the price.

Overall vs Other Firearm videos 4/5 Verses other videos I think this is a solid dvd. Covers a lot of info and is worth a watch for all skill levels.

    Sounds good.
May I assume this is a two disc set?

Yes all the Thunder Ranch Dvds are 2 disc sets. Is there anything you would like added for future disc reviews? I hope to view and review the whole series. So far I gave them a single watching each and am going back to review each set.
