Re: Barrett
Very nice, I have the 99 but I really want an 82. Just watch out for corrosive ammo

Re: Barrett
Ya I know. Looks at these pics.
It almost wants to make you cry.
I just bought a 100rds from Shryvers of the French Surplus. Lin said that they have shot thousands of rounds of the stuff and insisted that it is non-corrosive. I still need to order some more. I do not think a 100rds is going to last long.
I actually had a M99 for a while and sold it about a year ago. I regretted selling and have had the itch for another. I got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up.

Re: Barrett
NICE
I know the residue from the APIT rounds tracer material is VERY Corrosive. I shot that crap outta the State Arms I had and it was horrible cleaning it up.

Re: Barrett
Better get an optic for that beast. I would imagine it might be difficult to point shoot.

Re: Barrett
Bump fire it!
I've thought long and hard about getting a 50 cal, but unfortunately there is just no place to shoot it within a reasonable driving distance of where I am (upper bucks cty).

Re: Barrett
i'd love to have a 82A1 but i just can't justify the price tag especially since I don't know anywhere to shoot it to take advantage of its long distance capabilities. for the price of a barrett i think i'd go with a C3 but i don't have the money for one of those either. let us know how it shoots

Re: Barrett
Wow. Sorry for the massive delay. I did go out and shoot it. Its awesome. If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area let me know and you can blast a few rounds off.
Some fun we had this past fall.
Some fun we had that day. I am the one shooting the M16 on the far right. The state cops showed up after this.
