yeah same here. I usually end up policing some one elses too. The brass doesnt bother me because there sure seems like theres enough people willing to clean that up after but leaving your drink bottles and wrappers etc is not cool

took a run out today to shoot the 10mm some since it was killing me. I get out of the car and hear a nice string of semi auto a lot longer than 6 rounds coming from the 50 yard side. I stroll over and get set up load up all my mags and I watch two younger guys with a ar-15 and a 40 pistol shooting at the 50. Mag dumps out of both of them. After they finished I told them they couldn't have more than 3 rounds in them at the 50. The one said I thought that was for hunting? Facepalm. Theres a sign on the table that says what you can load with. I go back to my pistols and another mag dump. lol Glad they listened. I left not long after

Well if you happen to have a change of schedule, let me know. I might try to get out there this weekend depending on weather. I usually go in the mornings before it gets crowded. I'll probably bring the ACR out if I do.

Nice. I might bring the AR also along with the M1A. I've been having trouble zeroing the M1A and don't know if there's something off-kilter with the sights or barrel. It'd be nice to have another pair of eyes verify.

was out for early muzzleloader in 183 Friday. Around 6:30AM someone proceeded to rapid fire at least a couple hundred rounds. Sounded like an AK. Why anyone would waste that much ammo (besides being over the 3 round limit and before the range is legally open) is beside me. I know I couldn't see my front sight at that time in my stand.

Went out today; was there from 0800-1130. Pretty good turnout and made some friends. I brought the ACR and the AR out. I was at the 50 the entire time. Looks like someone took a shotgun and went nuts on the 25 yard line as all of the backboards were blown to smithereens.

The only bad thing about public ranges are the idiots it brings out...

Hello all, met Amsetel78 at 183 today nice to put face to name.
One of the most plesent days DW and I have had at the range in months.
As Amstel78 said made allot of freinds . Think everybody shot everybodys wepons at least twise . Everybody was supplying targets and staples to all.
Nothing crazy . It is a crying shame what happened to the boards as they just the week before replaced them.
Then two WCO showed up and that thined everything down to my wife ,me and one other gentlemen at the 50 yard line. Literaly emtyed the place.
Wife got cold and hungry we left. Place was fillen up as we were headed out.
