Where to find Mosin around Pittsburgh?
I'm looking for anywhere around Pittsburgh/Monroeville where I could pick up a Mosin Nagant. Dunhams has several, but due to their idiotic store policy, they won't be recieving one cent from me. Dick's does not carry the mosins. Any other shops around? How about websites? Any good websites out there that sell Mosins with reasonable shipping?

and use a $20 FFL like http://www.firearmtransfers.net/
There's also a gun show this weekend in Monroeville. I'm sure there will be some there.

Re: Where to find Mosin around Pittsburgh?
3 left as of today. And always one or two to be had at the Wash Cty or Monroeville shows.
FWIW, GMtn's gun-selling policies aren't any better or worse than Dunham's or Dicks. In fact, their layaway policies are worse than Dunham's but better than Dick's non-extant layaway. All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: Where to find Mosin around Pittsburgh?
I bought mine at Dunham's and know the guys at North Hills and Route 8 pretty well. Personally I've always been treated well, but out of curiosity what policies did they hit you with?
Anyway, Gander in Robinson has 91/30s of lesser quality for quite a bit more money. Not many other local options to be honest. You might be better off ordering one from Classic Arms or Aim Surplus. Aim in particular will still be a good deal after shipping and transfer (if you don't have a C&R) if you're looking for a standard round receiver mismatch for plinking. Classic's tend to be a bit more expensive but you can get nicer pieces.
I plan to head to the Monroeville show for the first time so I'm curious about what mil-surps will be available myself...

Re: Where to find Mosin around Pittsburgh?
We will be set up at the Monroeville show and with any luck will have some 91/30s for sale. It all depends whether or not I get them in time. I'll keep you all posted. Stop by anyway and say "Hi". We are Highland Arms Co.

I dug up this necro thread for my own curiosity as prices on these seem to be getting decent again and I might be in the market if the right deal comes along.
