Re: Got a complex interstate travel question
DO NOT DO IT !!!!!!!
You WILL BE ARRESTED if its discovered, even accidentaly. YOU WILL spend several days, if not longer, in jail waiting to make bail. And unless you are going to a competition in NJ you will most likely wind up convicted as a FELON, which bars you from possesion or ownership in PA !
A few minutes Googling the approriate terms will turn up several recent cases of PA residents that were discovered to be in possesion of a weapon in NJ WITHOUT a NJ FID Card and EVERY ONE OF THEM was arrested and charged !

I cant find it now, but I distinctly remember another case from last year of a guy from PA getting into a car accident in Jersey and the cops finding his pistol in the glove box or console after the wreck and him being arrested and charged.
Then theres this abomination, and this guy was CLEARLY covered by Fed FOPA and Jersey didnt give a shit !

DONT EVEN THINK OF bringing a gun into NJ unless your 1 Million percent sure your in compliance with NJ Law , and even then you better have your attorney on speed dial cause the patrol level guys will hook you and book you and let the judge sort it out every single time.Si vis pacem, para bellum

Re: Got a complex interstate travel question
If you'd like to not be unarmed for the entire trip, perhaps you could find a PA resident very near the border who would store your firearm while you were actually in NJ, then as soon as you entered PA again, you could re-arm for the remainder of your trip home.
