FN 5.7 owners ...

So how many rounds do you have through your gun and how old is it?

I'm trying to see what the durability of this pistol is like.

Less than a thousand, less than a year, and still looks brand new.

bought it from a friend that had it for just over a year. he put about 1700rds through it. and i put 50 through it. i love it but am thinking of trading it for another ar. the 5.7 ammo is just to expensive.

Have about 500 rounds through mine I think. had mine for about 2 years I think.

I've had mine for about a year and a half, 3rd or 4th owner. I've personally put in a shade under 1000 rounds myself, but with the previous owners, it's in the 1000-2000 range for the gun's life. It still looks new.

Why not ask this question on the FN forums?

Anything made by FN will be backed up by FN. Why try to justify your purchase. If you want one...buy one.

I've had mine for three years, maybe longer. I doubt if I've more than 500 rounds through it.
Mostly, before there was load data, I was developing loads and doing accuracy testing. No need for a lot of rounds.
It's a toy for me, a plinker, a varmint-rifle-in-a-pistol.
I enjoy it but there are a number of other guns that I shoot more.

I have been reading the FN forums but I do like to discuss things on this forum. I do realize that I would get significantly more info from that site, but I like to hear people's opinion here first. I know that there are a lot of very knowledgeable people here.

Believe me, I don't need to justify any purchases. I'm trying to see and hear about peoples experience with their guns.

I'm not doing this research for a purchase for me anyways. The next pistol that I buy will be a full size 9mm. I know 2 people that are considering purchasing this gun and I'm trying to get informed on it. It is a gun that I will eventually buy, but I have other things higher on "the list" at this point.
