Encounter awareness
Hi all,
Recently I have been kicking around the idea that there isn't much training when it comes to an OC/CC verbal encounter.
We train for the chance that we'd need to use our firearms to neutralize a threat. As likely or unlikely as circumstances that would necessitate the use of a deadly weapon would be is unimportant, as responsible gun owners we need to train for this.
I have been thinking that an encounter with someone is anti-gun is far more likely... and yet I cannot think of the last time someone suggested I take a class in how to deal with those circumstances.
Consider this me just getting my thoughts down on paper and looking for ways to grow my ideas but what do you guys think about a class that would be geared towards encounters with people who are hoplophobes or otherwise against firearms in general?
