Default Great deal on police trade-in Beretta 92FS

In case anyone didn't notice, JGSales got a batch of police trade-in Beretta FS92's. You can get one for $329. Some have night sights and mine came with Houge grips.

Mine has some holster wear on the left side (2nd picture) but I'm sure I can clean that up quite nicely. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. I love the M9 because of the safety and the large 15rd mag. I also like it's history so I really wanted one. I just wasn't willing to pay what they go for new.

    Nice addition!
92FS is one of those "must have in my collection" guns but at full retail chances are I'll never get one. This is a much better option. Hmmmm. Must resist....

I have been looking at Beretta 92s at my club in PA and considered buying one there for my second gun, until I saw your posting.

How would I go about purchasing a used 92 as a Maryland resident and if I can't where do I find a second job to finance the new Beretta.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Bill, I am not familiar with all the Maryland rules but I found a link where some of this has been answered on this forum.

It appears there is a 7 day wait. I don't know if there are any magazine capacity limits. Also, it appears you have some sort of a safety course.

You gotta love what pops up on J&G Sales website. While I'm not a fan of the M9/92FS (just doesn't fit my hand very well) I would like one for my collection. I eventually want a model of each standard issue rifle (full length) and handgun the US military has used since the Revolutionary War period.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked the recommended posting and decided that it would be best for me to bite the bullet (so to speak) and buy a Beretta in MD. I have just started shooting a hand gun in Jan. and want to keep it simple.

Great buy.IMO blued Berettas look great banged up a little. Im sure it was typical police trade in.......lots or ware on the outside but the inside cleans up great due to low round count.

Nice find! I have had good dealings with JG Sales, and seem to have decent prices on some good things.
