UTAH Concealed Handgun Permit Classes

You need not be a resident of the State of UTAH, nor must you first obtain a permit in your home state, in order to qualify and apply.

Utah's permit is the most recognized non-resident permit available and offers the maximum number of states covered at minimal cost.

A PA resident with a PA LTCF alone has 25 state coverage.

A PA resident with a Utah CFP and a PA LTCF can carry in 34 states

Course usually runs + hrs depending upon the number of questions, the experience level of those attending, number of breaks taken, and administrative time afterwards for application processing and fingerprinting.

Depending upon group size, please allow 8-9 hours for the course + processing, perhaps a bit more for larger groups due to the time required for fingerprinting.

Attendees will be provided a printed course outline and blank applications. Your application will then be endorsed with the Utah State Seal as proof of completion of training.

Attendees _must_ bring the following:

-- medium or fine BLACK ink pen

-- Driver's License with CURRENT address or address update card (a print out from the state DMV website is acceptable for class purposes)

-- any currently held carry permit(s)

Attendees may bring the following:

-- water / soda (no alcoholic beverages)

-- snack / lunch (snacking during the course is ok, to save time)

The course fee is $90 per person,Permit is $65.25 for the initial application (first 5 years), $10 for each 5 year renewal.
