I have never shot in any formal situation before but RAM is doing an unofficial IDPA shoot. Can someone please tell me what these are all about? I really want to try it. das

Well IDPA is a sort of defensive shooting sport. It's easiest to just google some IDPA videos to get the gist of what to expect. Then maybe over to IDPA.com and look at the rulebook.

After that, ask some questions here and we'll get them answered.

pretty much you should expect to have the most fun you can with your clothes on. and then spend your entire shooting budget (and sometimes bill money) on new equipment, ammo, travel, and practice.

you should probably just try heroin, since it's less expensive and not as addictive as IDPA....
