    Default Ultimate Concealed Carry 9MM

Ok, I am going to be re-enlisting this next June and have already slated the 1st 1K off the top of the Bonus to go to a new toy. The question is, I have been looking at the Springfield Armory EMP and now the Para Ordinance Hawg 9. Does any one else have a good suggestion for a really good CCW piece? Looks are just as important as functionality, and please, no Glocks lol.

Not the ultimate but something to look at: Kel-Tec P11

I picked one up used and would have never considered it if I hadn't stumbled upon it. What I like about it: It shoots very natural for me. Draw, fire, hit target. It is small enough to be VERY concealable. Yet just big enough to fit my hand. The factory belt clip for IWB works great. It has never failied to fire. It seems to feed just about anything I've put in it. It is made in the US of A.

Probably not what you're looking for but thought I'd mention it anyway since I've been so happy with mine.

i carry a p-11, it's accuracy went to crap with hollow points (remington golden sabers) not too bad with FMJ ammo, so far 100% reliable

JHP ammo costs too much to experiment a whole lot

    You need to re-think that
, or you may not live to be old enough to not worry about looks.

    Seriously.

Um, I am concerned about the looks only because I will have a Thousand dollars to spend on it lol. It still has to be reliable of course, and thank you for the thank you

I you want something that thin (like the EMP), take a serious look at the Walther P99, it's an awesome little gun (and if you want even smaller, they do have a compact model as well). The EMP is pretty, but it still has a few bugs here and there...which may or may not be major to you. I've no experience with the para guns at all.

Kahr PM9 series is the smallest CCW pistol available. Only looks like a Glock.
HK P2000 is my favorite compact size pistol. Shoot excellent and is available in Traditional double action or HK's LEM.

Surprise nobody mentioned West German police trade-ins HK P7 PSP. Bunch of them are for sale now at Tanners. Heck, I have heard that they rust a bit but for couple hundred bucks and a pimp job they look just like prompt queen, he heh heh

the thread title is ultimate concealed carry 9mm.. but your looking at guns about double the size of the small 9mm's.. if you want the ultimate 9mm, its the rohrbaugh R9, its almost identicle sizewize to the keltec P3AT .380, thats the ultimate concealed 9mm(imo), and you'll be looking at atleast $800, but Most are right around $1000... the kahr PM9, although it has spotty reviews is a good size
