    Exclamation looking to up-grade

I have a basic as basic can get savage 22LR bolt action BLK synthetic nothing special. My question is: is it worth taking to the gun shop to trade off or try to sell out right and what is the going price for a gun like this?

What he said. If you trade it or sell it, sometime down the road, you'll wish you hadn't. It doesn't take up that much room.

I'd only sell it if I had another .22LR rifle that was better and I wouldn't ever shoot the Savage as a result. I especially wouldn't sell it as a trade-in--selling a rifle worth that little is only really worth it if you find an individual who wants to buy it. A shop isn't able to give you what the gun is worth when you trade one in because they need to make money on it, it will take up shelf space for a while, can take a long time for it to sell, etc. I'd guess most shops would tell you as much if you took it in.
