Looking for a german luger
Can anyone offer different websites other than the 3 big auction sites for locating one for trade or sale?

Re: Looking for a german luger
There is Readings Hardware.
Can't say anything good about their prices. Judging especially by primers - two months ago, they were still asking $50/k. Don't know if they have returned to the real world or not.
However, I did see a few Lugers in the case there, the last time I was in a coouple of months ago and got that quote for the primers. Just about scared me entirely out of the market with that.

Re: Looking for a german luger
I've seen Lugers there as well, and their staff is very helpful, but they have outrageous prices compared to the other shops in my search radius.
They have a huge inventory which = higher overhead which = higher prices.
They have the advantage though of having more in stock for those who don't want to wait.Let us never forget the sacrifice of those who have fought for us all.

Also an idea would be to let your local estate auctioneers know that you'd like a heads up when they have one or more to offer in an upcoming estate sale.

Re: Looking for a german luger
Though not cheap, Simpsons (check web for Simpsons and lugers) are the place for Lugers that are well described and genuine. At times, Empire Arms will have some including Finnish versions. Dave_n
