Re: Washington Sportsmen's Association
Did you do any follow up? How much is it?
Outside chance someone wrote your # down wrong, personal issues causing delay, that kind of thing. Let us know. Did you have a contact person to join? If so, what's the # if I may ask?
I thought about this club but never visited it. I know it's a small club but it's half the distance to my club.

Re: Washington Sportsmen's Association
Yes it is a small club, located behind Washington County Fairgrounds. Annual membership fee is $45 Initiation fee is also $45.
There is an outdoor pistol range, trap and skeet fields and an indoor pistol range. The indoor range is decent, but it is nothing fancy. If you want electric target retrieval and that sort of thing, you need to to look elsewhere (Like A & S indoor range in Youngwood). There is NO RIFLE facility, you need to go elsewhere for that also (there simply is no room for a rifle range).
Richard Blaha would be the person to contact for a key. I know he has been out of town recently. Technically, under the bylaws, you are not supposed to be eligible to get a key for six months. However, that rule has been relaxed some.
If you are considering joining, I would suggest stopping in on a Thursday evening and check it out. The facility is open to the public Thursdays 6:00 to about 9:00.
