some people will flame for it, but I like the look. but guns aren't for looks... and as long as you can hold a group then practicality is what is important. as long as there is not any uniqueness though, make sure you don't ruin a rarity

I have an M44, M38 and 91/30's with a round and hex receiver. I will never touch my carbines but I have been tempted to turn one of the 91/30's into a deer rifle as well. If I did it, I would probably try to make it look more like the original sniper rifle. Either way, there seem to be so many 91/30's out there now, you won't get flamed from me. Enjoy your fun shooter.

I like it! very very nice, 91/30s are like 6 cyl 1969 camaro's back in the early 80s they were worth nothing and people ran them to the ground and cut them up for part's, it wasn't till recently that people charge insane money for them so who would flame you for a rifle that's worth $100,it's not like your cutting up a M1 garand or something. If you like it who cares what they say!

normally i hate surplus rifles being modified but I like the way yours turned out. Doesn't look tapco-f*cked at all.

Wow.. thanks for the tip! Of my four Mosins, my two 91/30's shoot poorly while my M38 and M44 are great. I think I may try this one on my 91/30's to see if there is an improvement.

That's neat and all but I see a flaw with their testing.

The same person didn't shoot it back to back. Also they had a Double Marksman (?) shoot it the second time. Everyone's skills are different. Perhaps the first guy just sucks?
