Head out to PMSC on a thursday night at 7pm. they have ipsc practice then. it is very informal and open to non-members. those guys are very friendly and helpful.

    tell them koli sent ya
it really won't get ya much, maybe a cup of coffee.

if you like shooting pistols................you'll be hooked in no time.

It's just off 48 between North Versailles heading towards Trafford/Monroeville.

505 Mosside Boulevard, North Versailles, PA

    Google Maps link

Also keep an eye out for the monthly PAFOA shoots - one of the outdoor bays is usually set up for a practical shoot. The next one is February 14th (Link to PAFOA Shoot #36 thread)

East Huntingdon Sportsmen's club hosts a USPSA orientation class for those that are thinking about or plan on participating in the sport. The class is great & conducted in a professional manner. Link to EH http://www.ehpsa.com/dnn/

Although it is not mandatory to attend it will give you an opportunity to understand the range commands and to shoot a few stages out side of "match day". It will give you a great preview of shooting in this type of venue in a more relaxed atmosphere.

In the Pittsburgh area we can shoot every weekend of the month at 4 different clubs all that are within an hours drive of the City.

Here is a link to the class info: http://www.ehpsa.com/dnn/LinkClick.a...Ko%3d&tabid=39

Here is a short guide in .pdf format that will help to guide you through your first USPSA match. Local details may vary but this should give you a rough idea.
