You should carry next class!!! That way she'll see someone she trusts carrying. If she complains to you just say, you know mem why then do you now, all of the sudden, think I can't be trusted?

Could be two things:
Shocked speechless
Gun unfriendly

Just remember it was her displeasure.

Maybe you should have a quiet little private conversation with the instructor. Shows respect to him and the class. He's probably well versed in #2. I think he would appreciate it.

You know how things can sometimes get off topic
