    They'll do some re-enacting from what I've read and heard. You could tour some of the barracks they are staying in, might be some fleamarket vendors still there. I'm taking my son there as his interest has really grown on his German heritage, so we'll be checking out the German stuff more than anything.

    What if it were concealed? I had wanted to ask about concealed carry there. I do have a vintage colt 1911 that I can bring along .

    Carry of anything but Gov owned firearms is against FtIG policy. It is a state facility but trust me, you will get a lot of unwanted attention if your carry piece is seen by FtIG LEO's.

    seems to me that would violate the state 'preemption laws,' but I don't plan on being the test case
