    Just sayin'. Sheesh, newbies.

    While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

    Probably ANOTHER one of these programs that freak out over Flash code or Javascript driven code (e.g. the ads on the site)

    I've been using Avast for years. It's a good program.

    No warning here.

    On a serious note, has this happened before?

    Sometimes you get an update to the virus database that isn't so much of an update as the definitions suck. The providers of the anti-virus software usually sort it out after a couple of days.

    That was my experience when I used Windows everyday.

    FWIW, even google ads occasionally bring up this warning. Allowing javascripts / cookies when you dont know what you are doing could potentially be more dangerous than the oft warning

    </IT school>

    If you get such a warning, wait a few minutes and see if it repeats. Otherwise, I highly reccomend AVG free

    lol avast........an even bigger lol @ the people who still use AVG since they've sold out to yahoo, and encode yahoo malware and the yahoo toolbar into their virus scanner. Also both of those cause problems w/ older direct x games when it comes to the networking area of them.

    Best advice is to ditch either of those programs, and get comodo security or Eset NOD32 (what the pro's use)
