Re: Jim Milks - Innovative Custom Guns - formerly of EGW, near Altoona PA
I had Jim work on my 1911 twice: once while he was still at EGW, and one while at Innovative Custom Guns. Both times he did fantastic work, and I would not trust any other 1911 gunsmith to work on my DW from now on. I really appreciated the communication to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted, and after the first order, I trusted him enough to ask "Is there anything else that you think I should have done?" without the fear that he would throw in a bunch of stuff just to make some quick cash. For the record, he said he would not change anything else. A+, first-class act all the way!
