    Default Shotgun bead sights??

The stock brass bead sight that came with my M500A is pretty crappy. I'm not looking to get into ghost rings on my shotgun, it just doesn't fit my POU. So what kind of beads do any of you folks use? Ideally I'd like something that would add a little more reliability in low light situations, and is just generally easier to pick up on. Any links/pictures and best of all personal experience would be great, thanks in advance.

I was looking at this, and it seems like it might be an option:

I wouldn't personally order from optics planet though, I just used them as an example, I've seen way too many negative reviews of that site.

I've ordered from Optics planet quite a few times with no problems.

J you could always try the HiVIZ or the TRUGlo fibre sights.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

If your talking about sights for shooting slugs or buck shot then rifle sights or bright sights are probably good for aiming. But, if your talking about wing shooting at clays or game birds, I prefer a gold or white bead that doesn't draw attention to itself. You should be looking at your target not your sights. I once had my front bead fall off on the first station of a round of skeet. I finished that round and then shot two more rounds without a front bead and it didn't affect my scores at all. I still shot my average.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

This is purely a defensive shotgun. I'd like to run clays but don't see it in the near future.

XS big dot is a good choice, but those Meprolight sights look good too.

My wife's shotgun came with a really crappy, hard-to-see front bead. I put a Hi-viz on it and it's terrific. If you order, order spare pipes as well in case one breaks.

I fell out of a canoe and knocked the bead off of my 12ga Winchester 1300 XTR about 8 years ago. I have been hunting with it (both waterfowl and small game) and really haven't missed it. Skeet too...

Same thing with my XD, I really don't know where the sights point - don't really look at them.
