FINALLY got a glock 19

I have been wanting a glock forever. mainly because of the hype when i was younger, but now because of a great ccw piece. I have owned many guns over the past two years: beretta, ruger, bersa, smith and wesson, taurus etc. Today I finally sold two of my guns to have the cash for a brand new glock 19. bought it, took it home, cleaned it, then off to the range. WOW i really did not know what I was missing. I thought glocks were a lot of hype, but I was surprisingly wrong. I was getting 1-2" groups at 15 yards and almost same hole at combat distance between 5-10 yards. On top of that, the gun is comfortable (for me at least). All's I can say is wow, I now understand why people love glocks so much. I feel the glock 19 is the only handgun I really need...

The G19 is a great all around nine. I have a threaded barrel for mine so I can supress it.

I've always thought the Glock 19 in particular is one of the best compromises of size/power/capacity available right now. Combined with Glock reliability/durability and you'd be hard pressed to find a better 9mm sidearm.

I couldnt help finding the pic of the day I brought my new 19 home. You are going to love it. Make room in the safe,,,,,there will be more Glocks to come.

I bought my G19 back in July because I wanted something with a big capacity for 3-gun and zombie shoots but it quickly replaced my Sig P220 Carry as my carry piece, not just because of size, weight, and capacity but the low bore axis and short trigger reset.

About the hype- I thought I hated Glocks but I later realized I only hated asshole Glock owners who would brag about their guns being the only reliable gun out there, "will shoot with sand in the barrel, can shoot underwater, etc..." Reliability is not something exclusive to Glock, my Sig never malfunctioned and when I get a P228 it might replace the G19, but I just absolutely love the low bore axis, trigger reset, standardized parts (33 round mags will fit in any 9mm Glock) ...that kind of stuff.
