National Exercise Your Rights Day

The Firearms Coalition and numerous gun rights bloggers are trying to promote "National Exercise Your Rights Day" in order to counter the Brady Campaign's planned protests of legal gun stores (try to explain that one).

They're calling on 2A supporters to get out there on August 28 to buy guns or ammunition (and who isn't stocking up on ammo?), and are also hoping that gun stores will offer incentives to make that happen. Numerous stores have already signed on.

Don't forget that the PICS system will be down the following week, so there's even more incentive to make purchases Aug. 28. Thanks everyone!

I LOVE COUNTER PROTESTS!!!

I hope there is some sort of Brady function close to my commute. I'd be the guy with the snappy sign in the back.

Last time I counter protested was at the Italian Festival in SOuth Philla. Some of them antis had looks in their eyes that made me feel real un-safe.
