Shyda's

It's been said before on here, but I just thought I'd add my own recommendation for this place.

Shyda's in Lebanon, PA

For reloading supplies I normally go to Hot Shots over in Schnecksville. Walt is a great guy; extremely knowledgeable and he has a great little shop. However Walt is at the Shot show and won't be back for another week (he's been gone for a week already). I was looking around for places to go to pick up reloading supplies and I saw Shyda's mentioned here.

So I took a 1 hour drive over to Shyda's in Lebanon to check the place out. Went in there with the intention of just picking up some small pistol primers if they had any (seems like no one does) and just look around.

I walked out of there with 1000 small pistol primers as well as a horde of other stuff. It would have been more but my wife was with me, keeping me in check.

That place has an amazing selection. Every kind of powder known to man, in huge quantities and great prices. I'll take the 2 hour round trip over hazmat fees any day of the week.

They also shockingly had small pistol primers. Most of the small pistol they had left were magnum primers, but I managed to get 1000 CCI small pistol primers.

Their gun selection was great too; rifles, shotguns, and pistols. They even had a Barrett for sale.


All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I have to recommend it.

Shydas is excellent for PRICE too. They are as cheap as online stores, and ALWAYS seem to be cheaper than Cabellas, Bass Pro, Gander mountain here locally, for EVERYTHING.

I took this advice and other advice on the board which indicated Shyda's is a good place to do business and stopped over today. The place is great, they treated me fairly, I bought a bunch of stuff like targets, cleaning supplies, a holster, at relatively good prices too. I called around for pricing on a gun I was interested in and this place was the best price by $40, and they gave me a fair deal on a trade in too.

I duck in there whenever I'm in the area. I love checking out their used pistol case. They never have more than twenty or so at any given time, but they are priced to sell - some great deals to be had if you keep checking.

I drive past this place on my way to and from work every day. It's a GREAT place. Good prices, good service, good selection. It's one of my regular stop-offs during the Wednesday and Friday night after-work drive home.

Highly recommended.

I was in a few weeks ago after the Lebanon show....
They had a VERY mint Ruger P95 in 9mm with stainless slide....for $250

I always buy a few hundred cast bullets while I'm there in 9mm & .40S&W.....$8.00 per 100 is hard to beat!
