Colin needs to be smacked in the fucking head. yeah, it sucks he got shot, but more gun control isn't the solution.

On that I'm going to disagree. Like it or not there is a debate in this country on firearms. We have a right to voice our opinions. The unfortunate part of his opinion is the lack of research he has done. It seems to me he was handed a script, and I wouldn't be surprised to find he was handed a check as well. But the fact remains he has a right to his thoughts and their expressions. I only wish they were based in facts instead of agendas.

Sadly, he believes what most Americans, including many gun owners, have been led to believe -- it is futile to defend yourself with a firearm. Return gunfire would clearly have made a difference.

Anyone who gets shot multiple times as a random victim gets a free pass to be anti-gun in my book. I'll take any chance I have to change their mind, but I won't vilify them in my mind, heart, or words.
