Default Shooter's Bench in Russelton, Pa--Good!!

Just went to the Shooter's Bench in Russelton, Pa (Allegheny County) last night with my son & his friend. Had never been there before, but heard good things about it. Great store!! Friendly, helpful---bought a holster and a few other things. My son picked up some ammo for his Mosin Nagant, I live in McCandless and the closest gun store is Big Buck's in Wexford. I hate the place--overpriced and all the old guys in there seem to be loaded with attitude. I can say OLD cause I'm not young at 56!!

couldnt agree more, get most of my reloading supplies from them when i run out and no gun shows around, have great prices and there handgun selection is top notch and best prices around. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they will help out with any questions you may have. cant say enough good things about this shop.

Big Buck in Wexford is the worst shop I ever visited!

I agree, The Shooter's Bench is a good store - very helpful & decent prices. I will definitely go back.

Ed is top notch, honest guy. I went there primarily for transfers and always would pick up some reloading supplies. Also agree on Big Buck - good selection, but overpriced.
As to the Mosin-Nagant ammo, or perhaps any ammo, especially milsurplus, there is no better place than Dan's Ammo in Apollo. He sometimes has milsurplus guns as well. Just picked up Polish P64 and can't be happier with that pistol. Very nice person and easy to deal with.

I concur. I have purchased my XD 40, My RRA Operator AR, and my 1911/.22 there. The prices are great, the service is awesome, and the guys there are some of the most knowledgeable around.

I agree as well! Not my usual stomping grounds, but I had some work out that way. Stopped in...was treated well, they took time with me even though I was just looking at holsters. Would def go back when I'm out that way!
