Do they have to be at a gun show? If not, I can post links to quite a few places online who are selling 5.45's.

Their website is not easy to browse but if you go to that link and do a find for the word "ELK" you will see a good quality 5.45. I would replace the furniture but at least you are getting good manufacturing and solid metal as a base.

These are in Arizona but I have never had an issue with JGSales. I have always received good stuff from them. There you have the option of going Romanian or Bulgarian.

I got my Tantal from Classic Arms. Very good company to deal with. When I called to place my order they told me they were sold out, I asked if I could leave my number so they could call me when they got their next shippment in. The guy on the phone told me they didn't do that, but after talking for a few minutes he asked for my number and called a couple of weeks later.

There are a lot of '74s out now. There was a flood of '74 kits that hit the US not that long ago so they are everywhere. If your just InRange has some nice ones for about $600. TGI build a "truck" version that's a little over $400.

Are you looking for anything in particular?

edit: Apex has a few 5.45 krink kits ... for $1200

Chinese: Don't see too many floating around. Seems like people don't want to sell theirs
Russian: Unless your talking about a saiga, these are VERY rare birds
Other: You will most likely find Polish and Bulgarian

member MEH (I think) has a few 5.45 rifles for sell if I remember correctly.

5.45x39, or 5.56x45? I wasn't aware the ChiComs were doing anything with the 5.45 round, particularly since they have no interest in it.

They did make a lot of AK-84s in 5.56x45 which sold well here, and Iraq as I recall. Here's our example:

Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"
