Very scifi looking but still pretty neat.

Depending on how my tax refund purchases go, if I have enough cash left I want to buy a .22lr pistol. Any chance I could get that same deal you did?

I wonder if they make threaded barrels for that? A can on it would be perfect

there *WAS* a single company that made threaded barrels..they don't make them anymore, as well as the 7" barrel from beretta. I love my neos, it eats any and everything i put in it. Wildcats, PMC 50's, CCI: Stingers, Minimag, minimag-hp, american eagle, remingtons (shoot like shit though), and super-x (when they aren't too busy being crap ammo that falls out the end of the barrel).

Most accurate I found are Winchester Wildcats and CCI Mini-mag 40gr...a close third is CCI Mini-mag HP 36gr, and by accurate I mean 10 rounds in a penny sized hole at 25 yards.

Very nice. Please update after your range trip, as I am interested on how it shoots and cycles with the red dot on top.

That's one reason I was looking at the Rugers. Gemtech makes an upper for them with an integral suppressor.

it will have no problems cycling w/ the red dot because the red dot doesn't move, that's part of the fixed barrel, there's a partial slide that moves below it.
