Kahr PM9 or PM40

I'm new here and looking to buy one of these small kahrs to carry and I can't decide which one to buy. I currently have a S&W 4006 (.40 cal) so I think it would be nice to have the PM40 and keep the same ammo. On the other hand 9mm is cheaper ammo and would be easier to shoot. Would you buy the pm40 to keep the same ammo, or get the pm9 for ease of shooting in such a small gun? A local gun shop has a very lightly used pm9 with holster for $540, and it is very tempting.

I would personally go with the PM9. You get slightly more in capacity and lesser recoil makes follow up shots easier.
